Brasov, Romania, 9 September 2023 (for immediate release): The  Netherlands’ Robin van Riel and Türkiye’s Emine Hatun Mechaal claimed victories in the Brasov Running Festival’s European Road  Mile, winning in national records of 4:05.5 and 4:41.7 respectively  on Saturday evening. 

Brasov, 5 September 2023 (for immediate release): Some of  Europe’s top men’s middle-distance runners will be in action and  chasing a European record at the Brasov Running Festival’s European Road Mile this coming Saturday (9 September). 

Purity Komen was the surprise winner of the N Kolay Istanbul Half Marathon. Overtaking fellow-Kenyan and race favourite Ruth Chepngetich the 24 year-old stormed to her biggest career win with a personal best of 66:30. Course record holder Chepngetich followed in second with 67:18 while Evaline Chirchir made it an all-Kenyan podium with 67:31. Stella Rutto of Romania was the fastest European, finishing 10th with 70:05.

54th Running of AJC Peachtree Road Race Welcomes Two New Winners, Two Defending Champs - ATLANTA – July 4, 2023 -- The 54th Running of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race once again brought the streets of Atlanta alive with red, white and blue as tens of thousands of participants made their way down Peachtree Street in an Independence Day parade like no other – this year led by Bill Thorn, serving as Grand Marshal as he closed out his streak as the only person to complete every Peachtree with a breaking of the tape as he crossed his last, ceremonial finish line.

Ruth Chepngetich, one of the world’s leading long distance runners, will be the star attraction of the N Kolay Istanbul Half Marathon on Sunday. The Kenyan, who broke the world record on this course with 64:02 two years ago, has a unique win streak in Istanbul.
