BOSTON—The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) has announced more than 140 athletes will compete at the 125th Boston Marathon as part of the John Hancock Professional Athlete Team. Olympians, Paralympians, global marathon winners, and 13 previously announced Boston champions will race from Hopkinton to Boston on October 11 in the first fall edition of the Boston Marathon.

EUGENE -- A historic men’s shot put and a thrilling men’s 10,000m gave the U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Track & Field the first day it deserved after waiting a long year for it to finally become a reality. In front of an appreciative and noisy crowd in the new Hayward Field, Team USATF athletes shined brighter than ever as spots on the squad for the Tokyo Games were up for grabs in the first two finals of the meet.

It is one month to go tomorrow and organizers do not expect any drastic rule changes that would limit outdoor events in the coming weeks. Since 1st July the Austrian government has allowed all events to go ahead, no matter how many people are involved.
