Partnership with the National Forest Foundation part of brand’s commitment to more sustainable future. - NORCROSS, GA – (October 1, 2021) Mizuno, a global leader in running footwear and apparel, has launched Alpha ECO, the brand’s first apparel line made from recycled materials. As part of its commitment to a more sustainable future, Mizuno USA has also signed an agreement with the National Forest Foundation as a tree-planting partner. In the inaugural year of the partnership, Mizuno has committed to planting 10,000 trees for our forests. More information about the National Forest Foundation can be found at nationalforests.org

“The advantages of Alpha ECO apparel are two-fold: utilize innovative recyclable materials to eliminate waste and further invest in our partnership with the National Forest Foundation by protecting the future of our natural resources,” said Tomohiro Ota, chief marketing officer at Mizuno USA.

By partnering with the National Forest Foundation, Mizuno USA joins the fight to prevent global climate change and restore tens of thousands of acres of wildlife habitat. Reforestation also helps to stop soil erosion, ensuring forests can better filter and supply water to millions of Americans.
