cim_sacramento.pngThe Sacramento Running Association is proudly supporting 40 U.S. Army runners training for a "satellite" California International Marathon near a military outpost in Sharana, Afghanistan. They are providing the runners with CIM t-shirts, finishers medallions, CIM banners and various other supplies to assist them with their efforts.

Unlike the proper California International Marathon in Sacramento, they will be running at a 7,500 foot elevation. They've also requested some volunteer shirts "for the guys in the guard towers protecting us while we run."
