Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Festival in Las Vegas set for November 14-16 on the Strip at Night - LAS VEGAS – Guaranteed to be one of the biggest weekends in running this year, pop-culture icon Snoop Dogg will headline the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Festival in Las Vegas on November 14-16, 2014. The global superstar will perform on Sunday during the pre-race concert at 3:00pm, prior to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon to benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America taking over the Las Vegas Strip at Night.

Event impact since inception in 2012 totals $8.49 million, and over $1.3 million has been raised for charity - SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The 2014 San Luis Obispo Marathon, Half Marathon + 5K presented by Left Lane Sports created a county wide $3.28 million economic impact, bringing a three year total impact of $8.49 million for the local community since its inception.

Second edition event to take place prior to start of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon; Nighttime running festival returns to the Las Vegas Strip on November 14-16, 2014; Marathon & ½ marathon registration tracking on pace to reach capacity soon - LAS VEGAS  – It’s ½ of the half-marathon fun and the shorter run has proven to be even more popular in its second year, as the 2014 ½ of the Half has reached capacity with 3,000 entrants.  The 6.5-mile event takes place on the Las Vegas Strip in conjunction with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas weekend on November 14-16, 2014.

Big Sur Marathon organization’s annual fall race offers U.S. and Olympic qualifying bonuses -  Already offering the largest prize money purse for a half marathon in the Western United States, the November 16 Half Marathon on Monterey Bay is now increasing the ante.  The top three male and female U.S. runners finishing the race, and all Americans who qualify for the U.S. Olympic Marathon trials will be awarded a cash bonus.

Relay Registration Opens August 1 - The scenic Big Sur Marathon course offers a variety of distances including the marathon relay, a popular event with teams of family and friends due to its shorter distances.  For 2015, the relay will feature four-person teams, down from five in the past, with leg distances of 4.8, 5.0, 7.2 and 9.2 miles.  In addition, the relay will be limited to 200 total teams. Registration will open August 1.
