J. Williams thinks 240
EUGENE (USA): 2011 World high jump champion Jesse Williams was encouraged by the 2014 season, one in which he started with only being able to jump 190 in training and finished with a SB of 229, report portlandtrack.com. A tear of his anterior tibiofibular ligament in May 2013 put him out of action for quite some time, so the main goal for 2014 was to get back to being 100% healthy. Now that he has achieved this, he wants to join the 240 club, something that would also being along the American record, which currently stands at 240. To do this he wants to drop 10 pounds from his current weight of 183 pounds. His main goal for 2015 is to jump a PB (currently 237) or take attempts at a PB at the World Championships.
